Dr. Martin Panchula has been appointed as Vice President and Chief Technology Officer, and Daniel Mossop joins as Vice President and Chief Information Officer.
Dr. Martin Panchula will lead and manage the Quartz, Ceramic, and Crucible R&D teams globally to drive innovation throughout the businesses. Dr. Panchula holds a Ph.D. in Materials Science from Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a B.S. and M.S. from Iowa State University. His experience includes technical leadership roles at G.E. Lighting, G.E. Quartz, Momentive Performance Materials, Quartz and, most recently, at BASF Corporation. He has worked on translucent alumina, fiber optic materials, fused quartz, nanomaterials, Li ion battery cathode materials, solids processing, and many different materials synthesis and forming processes.
Daniel Mossop will be responsible for strategizing, implementing, and managing ÓñÐßÔ°¡¯ global I.T. functions, optimizing processes, automating operations, and enhancing the overall employee I.T. experience. Dan will oversee multiple global I.T. projects and initiatives, ensuring the timely and successful integration of new business ventures. He joins from The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company, where he led various global I.T. functions over a twelve-year tenure. Dan holds a BA in Political Science from The University of Akron and an MBA in International Management from the Thunderbird School of Global Management.
